Alamo Rent A Car at 6327 Aviation Drive, Sacramento, California.

I called Alamo twice before picking up my rental and was told both times that we didn't need a $250 deposit. After arriving to the Alamo at SMF I learned there was a deposit required. The supervisor waived the deposit because he was able to verify the information I received. According to the supervisor if we didn't live in the area we wouldn't have a deposit. Apparently theft is higher from local renters.
They gave me a free upgrade for the miscommunication.
Be aware that renting from Alamo in the same city you reside in will automatically call for a deposit.
